The pictures posted by the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) showed the agency’s team cleaning up what was left of casualties of the attack which occurred in the early hours of Tuesday, January 31.

Meanwhile, the Nigerian Army has confirmed the attack and killing of some soldiers in a Boko Haram ambush in Damboa, Borno state on Saturday, January 28.

Major-General Lucky Irabor, the Theatre Commander of Operation Lafiya Dole, said the terrorists escaped through the bush after the attack in which a civilian was also killed while two others were injured
